A passion for travel

I have been involved in ‘Travel’ since 1966 starting with the International Air Transport Association (IATA) in Paris, France, and later, in Geneva, Switzerland, before arriving in Dar-es-Salaam, Tanzania, with a recommendation from a senior Trans World Airlines (TWA) official, who assisted in my acquiring a position with the TWA office in the Kilimanjaro Hotel in the city.

In 1970, after my marriage to a Swiss national working with TWA, I accompanied him on his assignments around the world, from Dar-es-Salaam, to Tel Aviv, Israel; Taipei, Taiwan; Barcelona, Spain; Zurich, Switzerland; Vienna, Austria; Wiesbaden, Germany; Surrey, England; Mumbai, India; Basel, Switzerland, and finally to Vancouver, Canada where we decided to retire.

In 1997, early retirement in Vancouver, B.C. was short-lived and we both found travel channels to continue working and sharing our knowledge.

I invite you to visit my blog pages to travel with me around the world!
